Jakob Dylan & Three Legs join Mountain Stage in Morgantown, WV this Sunday.

This weekend we'll head to the Creative Arts Center in Morgantown, WV, the home of West Virginia University to record Mountain Stage Episode #719 with our friends at WVU Arts & Entertainment. Read our "Live on Stage" newsletter for more on each guest.

Our guests will be Jakob Dylan & Three Legs featuring Neko Case & Kelly Hogan, The Watson Twins, Clare & the Reasons, April Smith & Great Picture Show and The Tallest Man on Earth.

Today, April 6, is record release day for Dylan's highly anticipated "Women & Country" CD, which reunites him with T-Bone Burnett, who produced the Wallflowers seminal 1996 release "Bringing Down the Horse". "Women & Country" is setting at #3 on Amazon.com BestSellers.

Dylan stopped by the NPR offices in DC for a "Tiny Desk Concert."

The Watson Twins

The Watson Twins, whose new album "Talking to You, Talking to Me" came out in February, will be doing the CBS Early Show's "Second Cup Cafe" on Saturday, before joining us in Morgantown. They were also featured on NPR. Their tune "Devil In You"can be heard at the Song of the Day.

April Smith & Great Picture Show

April Smith & Great Picture Show, whose fan-funded CD "Songs for a Sinking Ship" came out in February, was featured at the Dominion Post in Morgantown. Read the feature by Lindsey Fleming HERE. There's a "continuation" link at the top for page 2. Smith has been gigging recently with past-guest JD Souther.
