The Fox Hunt
As always we have a preview on our Song of the Week page featuring West Virginia's own The Fox Hunt with one of their crowd pleasing closers, "Lord We Get High" from their album "Nowhere Bound." The group's latest CD is called "Long Way To Go". They've also got a digital single of "Trouble Makin' Woman" available at Amazon. Hear their whole set and more on this week's episode.

Dar Williams returns to Mountain Stage July 25.
Tickets are on sale NOW for our latest addition to this Summer's Live Show Schedule. Sunday, July 25 we return to the Culture Center Theater in Charleston for the first time since March. We will welcome Dar Williams back for her fourth solo appearance and fifth overall since 1995. She visited us once with Cry Cry Cry, a group that also featured Richard Shindell and Lucy Kaplansky.

DearCompanion-2010
Ben Sollee & Daniel Martin Moore

We will also welcome a new, exciting collaboration called Dear Companion, featuring Kentucky musicians Yim Yames (of My Morning Jacket), Ben Sollee and Daniel Martin Moore. As of now there's only nine tour dates so we are happy to welcome them to Mountain Stage. Released in February, 2010, Dear Companion (click to purchase via Amazon) features tunes by both Moore and Sollee (who has appeared on Mountain Stage with the Sparrow Quartet and as a solo performer) and explores the Appalachian home they love and aims to draw attention to environmental conerns important to the artists.

Tickets are $14 in advance and $20 at the door - available ONLINE, by phone at 800.594.TIXX or locally at Taylor Books in downtown Charleston. Check out this and other exciting live shows on our Live Show Schedule, and come see some live performance radio in person.
